The olive tree in the Mediterranean
The French Institute of Cyprus welcomes from 19 January to 16 February 2018 the interactive exhibition The olive tree in the Mediterranean, in French and in Greek; produced by the Centre-Sciences Orléans.
On this occasion you are cordially invited on Thursday 18 January at 7 pm to an evening around the theme of the olive tree. A conference in English will be organized. Four presentations will be delivered by:

Arts Spontanés, in collaboration with the French Institute of Cyprus proposes a concert by Greek artist Yiorgos Kaloudis, virtuoso cellist and Cretan lyre player, highly appreciated by critics for his style, his presence and his creativity. He will present his new album, J.S. Bach reinvented for Cretan lyre as well as pieces extracted from his records "Truth" and "On the wind".
Lecture / exhibition on New Wave
Tuesday, November 28, 2017, Mr. Doros Demetriou, historian of cinema, gave in the premises of the French Institute of Cyprus, a conference in English called The French New Wave: Artists, Films, Influence in front of a large and attentive public.
The photographic exhibition on the New Wave will be held until Friday, January12, 2018.
