The six independent levels of the DELF-DALF diplomas are calibrated to the six levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)
The Institut français de Chypre is the only official examination centre in Cyprus, accredited by the CIEP (International Centre for French Studies), a public institution of the French Ministry of Education to deliver the DELF and DALF diplomas. Exam sessions are organised yearly in May-June.
The DELF and DALF diplomas are an advantage for the academic and professional pathway of their holders. For studies in France the lower level required is the B2 level.
